Erin Stoneburner contacted Rob Kline and Kline Offices following her involvement in an automobile accident. Erin was asleep in the passenger seat when her friend – later convicted for driving while intoxicated – lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.

As a result of the accident, Erin’s back was broken in five places, which ultimately required a permanent spinal fusion. She also experienced serious damage to surrounding soft tissues. These injuries are permanent and are a source of chronic pain and physical limitations.

The accident had a profound effect on Erin’s life and career goals. Because of constant back pain, she was forced to scale back her coursework at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she was studying acupuncture. Chronic pain also prevented Erin from enjoying many activities: yoga, gardening, dancing, walking, backpacking, bicycling and skiing.

Rob Kline litigated the case in Multnomah County, eventually securing a favorable settlement for his client.
